Manchester United was held to a one
all draw by Real Madrid in the EUFA champions league round of 16 played
yesterday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Danny Welbeck gave Man U the lead in
the 20th minute of the first half while Cristiano Ronaldo got the equalizer
for Real Madrid at 30th minute. De Gea made a string of saves to
keep Man U hope of going through to the next round alive.
Danny Welbeck silenced the Spanish
crowd with the opening goal for United giving the Man U fans cause to celebrate,
but Old Trafford old boy Cristiano Ronaldo leveled.
Both sides had chances to win, but wasted
them all. The tie shifts to Old Trafford in three weeks with all to play for
and a place in the last eight of the Champions League very much open for grabs.

The match
was watched by about 85,454 spectators while the Referee,
Felix Brych is from Germany.
